GOLDEN DELICIOUS

Known for its sweet taste, the Golden Delicious is perfect for salads, apple sauce, and apple butter.

Originally found on a family farm in Clay County, West Virginia, it was locally known as Mullin’s Tellow Seedling and Annit apple. When the owner of the tree, Anderson Mullins, sold it to the Stark Brother Nurseries, they made it a companion to their Red Delicious apples in 1914.
